Weight Loss Tips For Women #1: Achieve A Consistent Calorie Deficit
Simple as that.
When you’re in a calorie deficit, you lose weight.
In other words, you should burn more calories than you consume.
So, if you eat 1500 calories a day, and you burn 2000 calories — you are in a calorie deficit.
However, if you burn 1500 but you’ve consumed 2000 — you’re not in a calorie deficit, even if you’ve been working out a lot to burn that much energy.
You should always be sure to eat the proper food and do the right exercises, so you’re full enough and satiated, even when you eat fewer calories than you burn.

Intermittent fasting, Keto Diet, and Paleo Diet are some useful options and tools you can use to achieve your desired body weight. All three are useful weight loss and diet tips for women, especially if you want to speed up the weight-loss processes.
You can read here my article about the Keto Diet, and here the one about Paleo Diet and decide if these diets can suit your needs.
Weight Loss Tips For Women #2: Decrease Calorie Input Through Diet Changes
The most common pitfall that you might experience when you try to lose weight is that you start exercising more. And you feel like you need to eat more to keep your energy levels up.
But this is a wrong approach.
And it’s wrong because in this way most times you eat more calories than you actually burn. And your scale will display the same weight every time you hop up on it.
What should you do instead?
You should adapt your diet to get the most out of your calories.
You see, all foods have different energy densities.
Fruits, vegetables, and whole grains have a low energy density, meaning you’ll get fuller faster when you eat them.
On the other side, there are high energy density foods, such as french fries, pasta, cheese, nuts that keep you satiated for a shorter period of time.
Proteins and healthy fats promote more stable blood glucose levels, keeping you fuller for an extended period and reducing your carb cravings. And these foods are the ones you should include the most in your diet.

As a summary, eating the same amount of calories as you consume now (or even less), but getting more nutritional value from them helps you feel fuller for longer. And improves your weight loss processes. (which is your primary goal, right?)
But let’s continue with more weight loss tips for women, especially diet tips.
Weight Loss Tips For Women #3: Try Intermittent Fasting
One of the best ways to speed up your weight loss processes is intermittent fasting.
Thankfully, many people thrive on intermittent fasting, and you can be one of them too.
How do you know if it’s right for you?
Well, the only way to know that is to try it.
Remember, when you want to lose weight, you always have to test. And that’s because every metabolism is different. What works for you might now work for me, and vice-versa.
The most popular form of intermittent fasting is the 5:2 diet.
What does that mean?
It means you eat normally for five days a week, but then you consume no more than 600 calories in the last two days.
Besides the 5:2 diet, there’s also the 16:8 diet.
When you stick to the 16:18 diet, you can eat anything for 8 hours a day, but can only drink water during a 16 hour fast. I recommend you eat between 10 A.M. and 6 P.M. (at least this worked best for me).
So, is intermittent fasting the best way to lose weight for women?
Surprisingly, intermittent fasting worked best for me. And I can say it’s one of the most effective weight loss tips for women. It isn’t as restrictive as the Keto Diet or other diet tips, allowing you to eat various types of foods.

The major benefits of intermittent fasting are that during the fasting period, your body runs out of carbohydrates and starts taking energy from your fat stores.
Practically, your body enters into a state called ketosis, and it begins to burn belly fat faster.
Weight Loss Tips For Women #4: Drink More Water And Less Alcohol
Thankfully, drinking more water (especially before a meal) can help you feel fuller. In this way, you stop eating sooner, and you consume fewer calories then you would generally have.
You should always consider the calories from your drinks too — since those potential hundreds of extra calories can ruin up your calorie deficit.
The best option is to replace fruit juices, fizzy drinks, even tea and coffee with water, so you can save up your calorie allowance for the food that provides you the proper nutrients.
Extra hint: always keep a water bottle with you and restrict other drinks. Even if this seems like a hard habit to get used to at first, it will be effortless to maintain once you have a zero-calorie drink to hand all the time.
Reducing alcohol should be another go-to option for you if you want to lose weight at faster paces.
You see, alcoholic drinks are very calorific, so drinking less of them means you consume fewer calories. It’s that simple.
It was pretty hard for me to ditch the margaritas since I used to drink one almost daily. And especially when it was “that time of the month”.
Another thing that holds you back when you drink alcohol is it increases your appetite. So you’re more likely to eat more than you would typically do. And usually, you wolf-down the “bad stuff” such as fries, pizzas, chocolate, or other nutrient-poor foods.
More than that, drinking alcohol affects your ability to function well and can affect your healthy choices for your next day.
As a summary, one of the best diet tips for women is to drink more water and avoid alcohol or other fizzy drinks and juices since this can make your weight loss journey easier.

Weight Loss Tip For Women #5: Increase Calorie Output Through Exercise (Weight Loss Plan For Women)
Looking forward to getting that bikini body?
Besides improving your body and making you look fit and sharp, exercise also helps you with the calorie balance.
As you know by now, nutrition and diet are the “calories in” and exercise is the “calories out” method.
Even if you have healthy eating patterns and you’re active throughout your day, it isn’t likely that you’ll lose weight quickly without adding exercise to your routine.
Running, swimming, cycling, CrossFit, going to the gym …
You name it.
Just pick one and stick to it.
Thankfully, working out makes you look and feel better, and once you start seeing results, it gets a lot easier to find the will power to improve your diet.
What’s the most important thing when you decide to start exercising?
To enjoy it.
Sadly, if you don’t enjoy it, most times you won’t have consistency and you will stop exercising before you even start. Don’t force yourself to run if you hate it (or even don’t like it).
Personally, I like to practice at home workouts.
I think that one of the best weight loss tips for women is to exercise at home.
Related: Health Benefits Of Exercise: Why Is Exercise Important?
Because it’s practical and effective, and you don’t have to lose time on your way to and back from your local gym. More than that, being a mother may require you to stay home with your kids because both you and I know how messy things can get when you leave the house.
So, why not do your mom’s job while you exercise too?
If you want to try a very effective weight loss plan for women, I highly recommend Bikini Body Workouts (read here my full review).

You can check all my reviews from these three programs and decide which one is the best weight loss plan for women. (all of them are great, if you ask me).
In my opinion, doing at-home-workouts is the best way to lose weight for women.
Weight Loss Tips For Women #6: Track Your Input Vs. Output (Calorie Deficit)
Remember, you should always measure your success and keep track consistently, understanding that you’ll see some fluctuations due to digestive contents or water retention.
Running watches are a great way to help you track the progress, stay motivated, and keep weight off. Whether you want to track your weight, BMI, resting heart rate, calories burned, or activity level, a high-quality running watch will track all of them.
Are you more of a conservative lady?
Then you can stick to the “old fashioned method” of weighting yourself.
Thankfully, the modern bathroom scales also show you the body fat percentage, and not only your current weight.
So, even if calculations of body fat percentage scales usually base on sound science, their accuracy can vary.
But if the overall trend is going down …
Then you’re on the good track.
Always remember …
The most important thing when you lose weight is to give your body time. By using the right gear and having the proper knowledge and attitude, your weight-loss journey can be very enjoyable (trust me on that).
